Tectonic was founded back in 1989 by Nigel May, the managing director, in the town of Eastbourne, East Sussex. We are a local independent company, still based in Eastbourne today, and providing electrical, TV aerial & satellite services, data & fibre, home automation, lighting, CCTV, access control and solar services to both our domestic and commercial/industrial customers across East Sussex and the surrounding areas. We also undertake installations, fault finding, repairs, maintenance, estimates and provide an out of hours emergency service.

Tectonic are registered with NICEIC and are Approved Contractor status along with Domestic Installers, MCS approved solar and battery storage contractrors and the TrustMark government scheme. In 2008 we were awarded the CAI Company of the Year which was a major achievement and, as a team, something we all worked hard to achieve

Yes, our engineers are MCS certified installers for solar PV and battery storage (ESSS).
We carry out a wide range of testing to suit all of our customers’ needs from electrical condition inspection reports (EICRs), load testing, emergency lighting, fire alarms, to name a few. Whether you’re looking to sell your property, or need assistance keeping your business compliant, we can help.
Yes, regardless of who you had install your solar PV or batteries, we are able to carry out solar PV maintenance and repairs. We can also help with upgrading your older system by providing you a non obligation quote.
We help both domestic and commercial customers across Eastbourne and East Sussex. There isn’t a job too small or big that we can’t handle.

Yes we can, we ensure that our engineers stay up to date with training for a wide range of EV charger manufacturers to be able to offer the best product to suit your needs and budget. We can assist you with CCTV estimates, CCTV installations, fault finding on your current system, additions to an existing CCTV system as well as CCTV servicing and maintenance, to ensure you are getting the most out of your cameras and helping prolong their life.
Our engineers can come to your property to take a look at your current set up and then provide you with a no obligation estimate to help extend your WiFi. This can be done at home, outside your home, in garden/summer houses, and offices etc.
